We believe blues and hunger come from the same beginning - poverty. We believe music and meals can heal. Support a BAHS event, or tour and let's feed the hungry with a blues jam.
Fact: In 2015, 14.5 million or approximately 20 percent of children in the U.S. lived in poverty.
Brewers & Blues is a blues music food drive tour of craft breweries, and tap houses.
We know and appreciate the special symbiotic relationship between craft beer and blues music and we want to celebrate it. Anytime you can bring these two together, you're in for a good time. Then when you add the feeling of giving and supporting your community, that's when the magic happens.
The tour will feature blues concerts and jams and at craft breweries every summer from June to November. All events are free to the community and will feature the finest craft beers and the best local, regional and national blues artists. In lieu of tickets, we will be accepting non-perishable food donations for the local food bank in each community.
