One Fun Night of Wine and Blues to Help the Community

Auburn CA, September 15, 2014 – Come out and enjoy delicious wine and blues at The Sierra Knolls Winery on 10024 Linnet Lane in Auburn CA this Friday, September 26 from 6-9pm. The blues duo Wild Pack will be performing from 7-9pm to help collect food for the Auburn Interfaith Food Closet. Dinner offered 6-8:30 pm

The event is FREE, however they are asking for a non-perishable food donation (can goods and dried goods are best).

Sierra Knolls Winery / Bear River Wine Tasting is a small family-owned and operated vineyard and winery located in the beautiful Sierra Foothills, between Auburn and Grass Valley, 25 minutes off
of Hwy 49 at Combie Rd. The new and conveniently located tasting room offering Sierra Knolls Wines “Bear River Wine Tasting”. Stop by and enjoy their fine wine by the glass or bottle, dinner and live music! No cover charge. It’s a fun and friendly time to unwind!

Wild Pack duo combines old school blues classics with a heavy blues rock sound of the 1960’s and 1970’s. “We’re sort of a fun rockin’, booty shakin’ blues”, says bassists Sweet.

“This is a great time for this event because food banks are in need,” said John Pack, Director, Blues Against Hunger. “Statistically, donations are much lower over the summer months forcing many families and elderly to turn to food banks and donations for help. This event is a great way to help provide much needed food for families while giving the locals a fun and inexpensive way to be exposed to blues music and help their community.”
